Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds

D' Artagnan and the Three Musketeers (Japaneseワンワン 三銃士, Wanwan Sanjushi, GV "The Three Musketeers Bark " ) is a Japanese animated television series from the year 1981. The series with 26 episodes based on the book The Three Musketeers Alexandre Dumas, all the characters are anthropomorphic animals, mainly dogs. 1990/91 the series with another 26 episodes under the title was one for all and all for one - continued return of D'Artagnan.

Content

In the 17th century, the young D' Artagnan wants to be a good fencing fighters to join the Musketeers of the French King can. He soon makes friends with the musketeers Aramis, Athos and postage. In addition, he meets Juliet, the maid of the Queen, in which he soon falls in love.

Production and publication

The series was produced in 1981 by Nippon Animation and directed by Hidetaka Saito, Shigeo Koshi and Taku Sugiyama. The screenplay was written by Akira Nakahara and the character design was designed by Shuichi Seki. Artistic Director was Kazue Ito.

The first broadcast began on October 9, 1981 MBS in Japan and TVE in Spain.
