Domino's Pizza

Domino's Pizza is an international fast food restaurant chain that was founded in 1960 and specializes in the manufacture and supply of pizza.

Foundation

Domino's Pizza was founded in 1960 by Tom Monaghan in Ypsilanti, Michigan (United States). The original goal of Monaghan was to open three pizza -service restaurants. As Monaghan retired in 1998, he sold his company to Bain Capital, Inc. Dave Brandon was Chairman and CEO, and remained there until March 2010. Domino's Pizza, Inc. is listed since 2004 on the New York Stock Exchange ( NYSE ) ( DPZ ). Domino's Pizza UK & IRL PLC is listed on the London Stock Exchange ( DOM).

Domino's Pizza Delivery Service has indicated that around 10,000 stores in 66 countries.

Germany

In 1980 Domino's Pizza tried for the first time to get a foothold in Germany. This attempt proved to be unsuccessful. On 6 November 2010, the company opened its first German branch in Berlin and announced its intention to launch a second attempt to open in Germany in the next ten years in 1000 Domino's pizza stores. Currently, there are 24 branches in Germany (Updated: February 23, 2014), which is in Berlin ( 6 stores ), Hamburg ( 1 branch ), Hesse (2 branches) and North Rhine and Westphalia ( 15 branches ) are located.

Master franchisee ( = " Master Franchise Partner" ) for Germany is the Israeli Yakir Gabay. He is also the main shareholder of the Israeli hotel real estate investment company 'Sunny Town Investments ' and one of the largest hotel real estate groups in Germany ( Grand City Hotels that operates among others, the Hotel Baden Hof in Baden -Baden and the Axelmannstein in Bad Reichenhall ) or residential real estate group of companies ' Grand City Property '.

Belgium

In Belgium there are 23 branches (as of February 2013), many of them in the Brussels- Capital Region.

Switzerland

Domino's Pizza Switzerland has approximately 250 employees and operates twelve shops in six cities ( as of March 31, 2013)

The branch office in Lucerne was closed in 2007, those in Renens and Muttenz in 2010 and later also those in Winterthur. The aim is to lead (as of end of March 2013) within five years, 25 new branches in Switzerland.

Since September 2012 Dominos Pizza Switzerland is a 100 % subsidiary of Domino's Pizza Group plc. (DPG ), with approximately 760 stores in the UK, Ireland, Germany and Switzerland. DPG is listed on the London Stock Exchange.

France

In France, the company has nearly 220 stores ( February 2013 ). Most of those are located along the coastal regions and in the central Ile- de -France Paris, the capital.

Japan

As part of a series of actions for the 25th anniversary of the opening of the first store in Japan, the company offered a part-time position with an hourly wage of 2.5 million yen (converted 22,000 euros ) in December 2010. There is a multi-level selection. Experience is not required, the work clothing is provided, the minimum age is 18 years. Another publicity stunt promises to anyone who was born September 30, 2010, a free pizza to every birthday up to the age of 25.
