The Domino Day was an event which annually took place from 1998 to 2009, with the exception of 2003 and in every time an attempt was made to achieve a new world record of most fallen stones in a domino chain reaction, the so-called domino effect, . Inventor and organizer of the event was the Dutchman Robin Paul Weijers. Since 2009, no Domino Day was held due to financial problems.

Company

The company behind the Domino Day Weijers Domino Productions was the B. V, which organized every year the world record attempt. Planning for this began in March and reached up into July. During this period, fields and projects were designed, developed techniques and worked on the show. In August, the auditions were held for the builders and a month later was mostly started with the preparation of the hall to be held in November to Domino Day. Dominoes
