Donato Giannotti
Donato Giannotti ( born November 27, 1492 Florence, † December 27, 1573 in Rome ) was an Italian political philosopher and author of plays.
Life
He was a leader of the short-lived Republic of Florence 1527th He wrote important works on the form of government of the Republic. So he saw a separation of powers. After the return of the Medici, he had to go into exile. He was a protégé of Cardinal Niccolò Ridolfi and was known by Michelangelo.
