Dongfeng Motor Company
Dongfeng Motor Company Limited is an automobile manufacturer based in Wuhan, China. It is a 50:50 joint venture between Dongfeng Motor Corporation and Nissan. The company produces cars under the brand name Nissan and Dongfeng commercial vehicles as. Currently, the cars Nissan Sunny, Nissan Bluebird, Nissan Teana and Nissan Tiida be made . Since 2012, the Dongfeng Motor Company Limited also produced in China self-developed brand vehicles Venucia.
History
Dongfeng Motor Company Limited was formally established on June 9, 2003 and began operation on 1 July 2003. The company's headquarters was moved in 2006 from Shiyan to Wuhan. In September 2010, Dongfeng Motor Company Limited presented the new automotive brand Venucia, Chinese " Qi Chen" before, which consist in contrast to other products, produced specifically from developed vehicles in China for the domestic market. In July 2011, the Dongfeng Motor Corporation and Nissan announced an additional 50 billion yuan ($ 8 billion U.S. dollars) in Dongfeng Motor Company Limited to invest by 2015. In order for the plan to increase sales of around 1.3 million vehicles in 2010 to more than 2.3 million units to be realized. In April 2012 it was announced that Dongfeng Motor Company Ltd.. From 2014 vehicles from the range of Nissan's luxury brand Infiniti will produce for China.
In June 2012, Dongfeng Motor Company Ltd. was. known 5 billion yuan ( 793 million U.S. dollars ) to invest in the construction of a new manufacturing facility in Dalian in northeastern China for the production of Nissan vehicles. The plant is scheduled to begin production in 2014 with an initial annual capacity of 150,000 vehicles and 300,000 vehicles later.
