Nissan Teana

The Nissan Teana is a manufactured since 2003 model of the upper middle class of the Japanese car manufacturer Nissan with front wheel drive. The Teana has the same platform as the Nissan Maxima offered in the U.S. and is also related to the Nissan Altima and offered exclusively in Japan Nissan Presage.

The name Teana arose from a Native American word that means something like dawn or dusk. He was chosen because he metaphorically fit well with the new edition of a luxury sedan and has an elegant sound.

The launch of the first generation took place in February 2003.

Is powered available only as a four-door Teana V6 engines with 2.3 or 3.5 liter engine or a 2.5 - liter four-cylinder. In April 2008, the second generation Teana was introduced at the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition and finally came in June in the sale. In the Japanese market the J32 is the first vehicle from Nissan, which is based on the newly developed D- platform and also the first car in its class that offers a glass roof.
