Nissan Pickup Trade

The Nissan Trade was a pickup truck, the Nissan offered in Germany between 1993 and 2001. It was produced by the Spanish Nissan Motor Ibérica.

History

Nissan had been involved in 1979 in the Spanish car manufacturer Ebro. After the complete takeover in 1987 by the Nissan produced as Ebro models were incorporated under the new name at the Nissan brand. The Nissan Trade presented here the successor of the Ebro F-Series originally a licensed replica of the Alfa Romeo Romeo in 1954 was launched.

Models

The trade was available as chassis, flatbed, double platform with a long wheelbase, van, panel van and minibus / van with long wheelbase and high roof. The high roof panel van had to offer as a special feature a ladder flap. Due to the outdated technology (no airbag, ABS, short service interval ) was the trade on the German market is not very popular. Offered was the trade in D 1993 with a 2.8 L turbo diesel with 63 kW (86 hp). In 1995 a 3.0-liter four-cylinder turbo diesel with direct injection, charge air cooling and 78 kW (106 ) PS who came from the Nissan Patrol. 1997 was followed by a 2.5 -liter turbo-diesel direct -injection engine with 55 kW (75 hp).

In 2001, production and sale of the van, minibus and double bunk was terminated. Chassis and single -trailer were still produced until 2004, but now only offered in Spain. Overall, therefore, 50 years was the original model, the Alfa Romeo Romeo, revised technically and visually repeatedly built! Successor of Trade in 2002, the Nissan Interstar.
