Donna MacFarlane

Donna MacFarlane ( born Tyberek; born June 18, 1977 in Melbourne) is an Australian obstacle runner.

She was Australian junior champion in cross country in 1996, 1997 in the 800 - and 1500 -meter run. In 2000, she began the obstacle course, but then took a multi-year break from the sport to start a family.

The end of 2005 they returned to the competition scene. At the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, she won bronze. The following year, she forced a lost shoe for the job at the World Championships in Osaka. On 6 June 2008 they presented in Oslo with 9:18,35 min on the current Oceania record.

She participated in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing in part, but resigned over 3000 m steeplechase already out in the flow.

Donna MacFarlane is 1,76 m tall and weighs 57 kg. She studied at the University of Tasmania and lives in Hobart with her husband Marty and two children. It starts for the club Sandy Bay Harriers.
