Donovan McNabb

Donovan McNabb ( born November 25, 1976 in Chicago, Illinois ) is an American former American football player at the position of quarterback. He played thirteen years in the National Football League ( NFL), eleven of them for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Career

In his high school years, he played college football at Syracuse University, where he made himself a name as a basketball player. He was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles as the second player in the first round of the NFL Draft in 1999 and became one of the most important players of his team. By 2004, he was elected five times in a row in the Pro Bowl. In the same season he led his team to the Super Bowl XXXIX in which the Eagles the New England Patriots documents with 24:21.

After two bad games at the end of the 2009 season, which had cost the Eagles the chance of a new Super Bowl attendance, McNabb was traded in 2010 to the Washington Redskins.
