Dorothy-Grace Elder

Dorothy -Grace Elder is a Scottish journalist, politician and former member of the Scottish National Party ( SNP).

In the Scottish Parliament elections in 1999 was a candidate for the constituency Elder Glasgow Baillieston, the direct mandate but could not win against Margaret Curran of the Labour Party. Elder moved but as the second candidate of the Regional Evaluation of the SNP for choosing Glasgow area in the newly created parliament. In the following years, Elder could not sufficiently identify with the price of the SNP and also lost support within the party. It has been suggested the return of their mandate but Elder left only the SNP and sat in May 2002 as a non-party deputies in parliament. At the 2003 parliamentary elections Elder no longer went to.
