Dorothy Livesay Poetry Prize

The Dorothy Livesay Poetry Prize is a Canadian literary award, which has existed since 1986 and is one of the BC Book Prizes.

It is awarded every year in April, the best collection of poems whose author is a resident of British Columbia, Canada, or the Yukon Territory. The winners need not be a Canadian citizen, but have lived at least three of the last five years in British Columbia or the Yukon Territory. The books can be published in other regions or countries. The winner of 2011 was announced by the hosts Bob Robertson and Linda Cullen in the Kay Meek Centre, Vancouver, April 21, 2011 at the Lieutenant Governor's BC Book Prize Gala.
