Continuation
1997 came with Dragon World - The Last Dragon a sequel, which was also directed by Ted Nicolaou. It is confusing that this title is similar to the reference title of the first part.

The film was in 1995 awarded in two categories at the Young Artist Awards: Actor Courtland Mead 's got a price, also the film was honored as Best Family Movie Made for video.
