Draveil
Draveil is a commune with 28 646 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Essonne in the Région Ile- de -France. It belongs to the district Evry, is the capital of Canton Draveil and the seat of the municipal association Communauté d' agglomà Sénart Val de Seine.
Geography
The city Draveil is 19 km east of Paris on a plateau between the Brie is made in the agriculture and forestry, and the valley of the Seine.
History
In 1939, the Berne Conference of the Communist Party was held in Draveil.
