Drew McIntyre

Andrew " Drew " Galloway ( born June 6, 1985 in Ayr, Scotland), better known by his ring name Drew McIntyre, is a Scottish professional wrestler. He is currently under contract with WWE. One of his greatest achievements is the preservation of the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

After he toured in several independent leagues in the British Isles, Galloway moved in 2007 to the United States to wrestle for Ohio Valley Wrestling and later Florida Championship Wrestling, where he won the heavyweight and tag team titles before he made his debut at Smackdown had and after a short time Intercontinental Champion.

Europe

Drew Galloway fought primarily in the United Kingdom. He started at British Championship Wrestling on 20 February 2003. Parallel to BCW he still joined (eg, International Pro Wrestling United Kingdom, Irish Whip Wrestling and All Star Wrestling ) in many other leagues. In Irish Whip Wrestling, he met Sheamus. He was twice BCW Heavyweight Champion, one time ICW Heavyweight Champion and one time IWW International Heavyweight Champion.

Development leagues

In April 2007, Galloway signed a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment. On 26 September 2007 he made his debut in Ohio Valley Wrestling, a developmental league of the WWE. After the partnership between the WWE and OVW ended, he joined in March 2008 in Florida Championship Wrestling. There Galloway went on until July 2009 and won, among others, the FCW Florida Heavyweight Championship.

Smackdown / RAW

Galloway celebrated his WWE debut on 12 October 2007 on Smackdown as Drew McInytre with Dave Taylor as his mentor and first defeated Brett and a week later Brian Major. Already at the end of the year he moved to RAW, but Galloway played only one match against Charlie Haas, before he was sent back to OVW and FCW later.

In August 2009, he returned to SmackDown and feuded first against R -Truth and was identified by the WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon as The Chosen One. On 13 December 2009 he was at the big event WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs Intercontinental Champion by defeating John Morrison was allowed.

On 7 May 2010 he was appointed by Theodore Long, after he repeatedly attacked Matt Hardy was released from WWE. Thereby, the Intercontinental Championship was declared vacant. Galloway, however, was awarded again the IC title since had according to Mr. McMahon Theodore Long dismissed this wrongly. In the big event Over the Limit he had finally ceded to Kofi Kingston his title. In the big event Night of Champions in the same year he was allowed to win the WWE Tag Team Championship along with " Dashing " Cody Rhodes. On October 24, 2010, she had to give up the title at Bragging Rights to The Nexus (David Otunga and John Cena).

When WWE Draft on April 26, 2011, he moved again to Raw, but appeared primarily at WWE superstars. On 27 November 2011, the records of SmackDown, he moved back to the blue fire.
