Dub FX

Dub FX ( born June 11, 1983 in Melbourne as Benjamin Stanford ) is an Australian beatboxer and live looping artist.

His trademarks are his appearances as a street musician in which he created with his voice and effect devices multi-layered music pieces in real time.

Musical career

Hailing from Melbourne's St Kilda Stanford played and sang first as a member of the band Twitch and then moved to Europe, where he began a solo career.

He applies his music exclusively through his live performances and word of mouth in social networks as well as with some freely available music samples.

Stanford is one of the founders of the Convoyun.ltd label, which has released next to Stanford's own works and music of the artist Flower Fairy, Sirius and Mr Woodnote, with some assistance from additional artists ( Cade, Lil Rhys, Pete Philly, Theo 'Monkey ') on some songs. All albums of the label have been produced by Dub FX Convoyun.ltd.

On Everythinks A Ripple saxophonist and Looper Mr Woodnote is also represented. So in the Tracks Flow and Wandering Love is listening to his saxophone. The pieces flow and Love Someone among the best known pieces of Dub FX.

In 2010 Dub FX collaborated with Melbourne producer Sirius and released the album both A Crossworlds. The style of A Crossworlds is going strong in the direction of dubstep, listen to the emphasis on sub-frequencies and lying between 138-145 bpm tempo.

His lyrics deal with the more general world events and the spirit of the times, at the same time they call for individual revolution through self determination and devotion to.

In his travels, and his performances Stanford is accompanied by his fiancée Shoshana Sadia, which occurs under the name Flower Fairy. The two met in Manchester and then traveled together around the world to anywhere act as a street musician. Sadia top selling CDs during the performances. Every now and then both sing together, for example, it is represented on Everythinks A Ripple at the pieces Wandering Love, and Time Will Tell and the piece Gingerbread Man / Future.
