The Duck Creek (English for "Duck Creek " ) is a 48 km-long right tributary of the Ohio River in eastern Ohio in the foothills of the Appalachians.

The outflow is via the Ohio River and the Mississippi River into the Gulf of Mexico. The Duck Creek is part of the river system of the Mississippi River and created in northern Washington County from the confluence of the East Fork and West Fork Duck Creek near the town of Warner. Then the Duck Creek flows generally meandering in a southerly direction and empties in Marietta around 5 km east of the city center in Ohio.

The East Fork Duck Creek is about 30 km long, originates in western Monroe County at Summerfield and flows south through the eastern Noble and northern Washington County. The 50- km-long West Fork Duck Creek rises in the south-eastern Guernsey County at Sarahsville, then flows südsüdostwärts by the central Noble County and northern Washington County to the confluence with the East Fork.

The catchment area of ​​Duck Creek, in which there are many smaller places, is used primarily for agricultural purposes. The only major town is Marietta. The rivers in the catchment area will be charged as a result of former mining in the region particularly from acid mine drainage. There are efforts in different directions to improve the water quality of rivers.
