Duma Key
Delusion is the German title of the published on 22 January 2008 novel Duma Key U.S. writer Stephen King. The German translation by Wulf Bergner appeared on 18 February 2008 by Heyne Verlag.

In the center of the action is the contractor Edgar Freemantle, who on a construction site loses his right arm in an accident which may cause serious injuries to the right leg and his head. These head injuries lead to moments of aphasia and therefore uncontrollable tantrums.
When his wife Pamela, this can not take it anymore and the divorce submits Edgar thinks of suicide, but his psychiatrist, Dr. Kamen, has a brilliant idea: Edgar should move to another place and his old hobby painting resume. So Edgar breaks down all the tents from behind and pulls on the little island built Duma Key in Florida.
In fact, his talent blooming again; Edgar is surprised by his artistic skills and his power of expression. The explanation is that he himself does not paint, but a mysterious force on the island, which acts through him. Soon Edgar already it is clear that his paintings are more than just harmless pictures ...

- Delusion based on Kings own short story memory that comes up quite in Chapter 1 of the novel. Memory appeared as an appendix of Stephen King's novel agony, which he published under his pseudonym Richard Bachman.
- Stephen King spends the winter for several years in his home in Florida. The inspiration for this novel came King on one of his long walks when he Caution, children saw a sign saying.
