Dun & Bradstreet ( D & B ) is the largest provider of business-to -business business information in the world. The company is based in the U.S. Short Hills, New Jersey. The Group employs approximately 4,600 people and serves more than 150,000 customers. The global D & B network is a partnership between Dun & Bradstreet and regionally oriented providers of business information. The local D & B countries companies are represented in over 40 countries.

According to information provided by D & B can be found on the database information on more than 170 million companies in over 200 countries and 4.5 million companies in Germany. 1.8 million data is updated daily worldwide, including 120,000 in Germany alone. D & B is active for more than 100 years in Germany. 1937 took over the credit reporting Schimmelpfeng the German subsidiary of RG Dun & Co. In Switzerland, D & B is present in all language areas. The headquarters is located in Oberurdorf, more stores are located in Lugano and Lausanne. Again, a rebranding on Bisnode took place in 2013.

In Austria, D & B has been represented since 1977 by its own subsidiary. The company is based in Vienna. Again, a rebranding on Bisnode took place in 2013.
