Dungog Shire

Dungog is north of the city of Sydney in the middle of the region of the Hunter Valley about 225 km. The area includes 85 districts and towns, including Allynbrook, Bandon Grove, Bendolba, Brookfield, Chichester, Clarence Town, Fosterton, Gresford, East Gresford, Eccleston, Main Creek, Martins Creek, Paterson, Vacy and the largest part of Dungog. The seat of the Shire Council is located in the east of Dungog LGA, where about 2,100 inhabitants.

Management

The Dungog Shire Council has nine members, who are elected by the residents of three wards ( three each from A, B, and C. Ward). These three districts are set independently of the villages. From the circle of Councillor also the Mayor ( Mayor ) of the Council recruited.
