Dürnach

The Dürnach before Maselheim

The Dürnach is a river in the district of Biberach. It flows from south to north and part of the river system of the Danube.

Course

The Dürnachursprung is located between the towns of Mittelbuch, Rottum and Dieterich Wengen in a wooded area. A short stretch of stream flows here from east to west before it bends to the north. This means book and Ringschnait are traversed. Shortly before Wennedach flows of Kaltenbach in the Dürnach, shortly after Wennedach of Rohrbach. Subsequently, the creek flows through Maselheim by Sulmingen and Baltringen and then at the edge of the Easter Ried along. Then the Dürnach happened west of the city Laupheim, before it joins shortly after the pennies angle with the Rottum to Westernach.
