Dynaudio

Dynaudio is a Danish manufacturer of high quality loudspeakers. The Company is active in four business areas: Home Systems, Professional, automotive and multimedia.

The name Dynaudio is composed of the terms dynamic and audio. The slogan of the company is "all there is".

The main location of the Dynaudio Group is to be with about 200 employees, where the speakers developed, produced and manufactured in Skanderborg, Denmark. In the Dynaudio International GmbH in Rosengarten ( Germany, near Hamburg), all international sales and marketing activities are coordinated.

Additional sales offices are in the UK, the Netherlands, the USA and China.

History

The company was founded in 1977 in Denmark by Wilfried honor Wood, Gerhard Richter and Ejvind Skaaning. The long-term mission of the company was called, Authentic Fidelity '. This was followed by the Confidence series, whose tower speaker C2 and C5 also have the DDC technology.

In 2002, the collaboration began with Volkswagen, which still exists today.

The Speaker Series Focus was presented with advanced chassis generation Esotec 2005. For the first time in 2007 in multimedia products came on the market: high-end desktop speakers and subwoofer MC15 Sub 250 MC.

For their 30th anniversary in 2007, the model Sapphire came to market. It was limited to 1000 pairs, the last pair was auctioned in favor of " Doctors Without Borders".

In 2008 came the speaker series, Excite on the market.

The speaker series Xeo, the first wireless speakers of the company, appeared in 2012 on the market. These were awarded the EISA Award 2012-2013 as Best Product in the European Wireless segment.

In spring 2013, the new Excite speakers was presented.

Product Segments

Dynaudio Home Systems includes various series of speakers for hi-fi and home theater systems at home. There are compact, stand and center speaker and subwoofer.

Dynaudio Professional manufactures various series of control room monitors for recording studios. Numerous music - and film productions are mixed with the help of Dynaudio monitors. Among the best known include Coldplay, Depeche Mode, U2, The Matrix, Lord of the Rings and the Harry Potter films. Among other things, the UK, AIR Studios, Abbey Road Studios, Danish Radio, CCTV and WDR Cologne equipped with Dynaudio monitors. Dynaudio Acoustics is the "recommended standard monitors" for BBC Radio & Music.

Dynaudio Automotive includes audio systems for various vehicles. From 1996 to 2009 Dynaudio worked together as a manufacturer of sound systems with Volvo and founded the size range Dynaudio Automotive. Also, Volkswagen and Bugatti are equipped with Dynaudio sound systems. Since 2010 is the exclusive Dynaudio premium sound partner of Volkswagen.

Dynaudio Multimedia was founded in 2007 with the introduction of high-end desktop speaker MC15 and the matching subwoofer Sub 250 MC. Since 2010 is a collaboration with the Taiwanese notebook and pc specialists MSI from which the gaming laptop GT 660 emerged.
