Dzhvynuv

The Zwinin (Ukrainian Дзвинів ( Dschwyniw ); Russian Джвинув ( Dschwinuw ), Polish Zwinin ) is an approximately 10 km long and up to 1109 meters high mountain ridge. It lies in the Ukrainian part of the Carpathians south of Stry in the small town of Skole in the Lviv Oblast, in the eastern part of the Beskydy Mountains near the Oblastgrenze to Transcarpathia.

The massif belongs to the deltas of the Stry and Opir National Park Skoler Beskids ( Національний природний парк Сколівські бескиди ) and is often climbed by tourists.

The mountains were known by the position battle at Zwinin from February 4 to 9 April 1915 in which the at the eastern end of the ridge lying 992 meters high ( Zwinin I) was attacked on 9 April 1915 by the 1st Division.
