Eberhard van der Laan

Edzard Eberhard van der Laan ( born June 28, 1955 in Leiden) is a Dutch lawyer and politician of Partij van de Arbeid ( PvdA).

Life

From 14 November 2008 to about February 23, 2010 he was Minister without Portfolio for Building and Integration in the Cabinet Balkenende IV as successor to the retiring party member Ella Vogelaar. Since July 7, 2010, he is the mayor of the city of Amsterdam.
