Echinocereus chisoensis is a flowering plant in the genus Echinocereus from the cactus family ( Cactaceae ). The specific epithet refers to the chisoensis occurrence in the Chisos Mountains in Big Bend National Park. English common names are " Chisos Hedgehog Cactus" and " Chisos Mountains Hedgehog Cactus".
Description
Echinocereus chisoensis grows singly or branching. The gray - green to blue- cylindrical, tapered tip for their shoots are 5 to 25 centimeters long and have diameters of 3-5 centimeters.
