Ecuadorian Serie B
The Series B is the second Ecuadorian Football League. It was founded in 1971 and has been called since 2013 according to a sponsor Copa Pilsener also. Host is the Federación de Fútbol Ecuatoriana. It 12 participating teams, the first two of which rise in the Serie A and the last two relegated to the Segunda Categoría.
Mode
The season will be played in two rounds with 22 game days in which all team meet in home and away matches. After 44 matchdays rise the two best teams in the overall standings to Serie A, while the last two teams relegated to the Segunda Categoría.
