Edil Rosenqvist

Edil Albert Rosenqvist ( born December 11, 1892 in Degerby, † September 14, 1973 in Helsinki) was a Finnish wrestler in the Greco- Roman style. He struggled in his career at light heavyweight and heavyweight. 1921 and 1922 he became world champion in his two appearances at Olympic Games in 1920 and 1924, he won silver. In Finland, he started for the Helsingin Atleettiklubi, one of the leading clubs wrestler in his time.
