Edrissa Sonko

Edrissa " Eddy" Sonko ( born March 23, 1980 in Essau, Gambia ) is a Gambian football player.

Sonko, who was born in Essau in the North Bank Region District Lower Niumi, playing in the striker position or midfield. Currently, he plays since 2007 for the English third division side FC Walsall. Since 2006, he played for the Greek team Skoda Xanthi. Previously, he was in the Netherlands at Roda JC Kerkrade and youth at the Belgian club RSC Anderlecht. The right winger was used in 14 international matches and scored seven goals for the Gambian national football team.

Sonko is married and has one son.
