Eduardo Maria Taussig

Eduardo Maria Taussig ( born July 4, 1954 in Buenos Aires ) is a bishop of San Rafael.

Life

Eduardo Maria Taussig received on 3 December 1982, the ordination.

Pope John Paul II appointed him on 21 July 2004 as Bishop of San Rafael. He received his episcopal consecration of the Archbishop of Buenos Aires, Jorge Mario Cardinal Bergoglio SJ, on September 25th of that year; Co-consecrators were Estanislao Esteban Karlic, Archbishop Emeritus of Paraná, Eduardo Vicente Mirás, Archbishop of Rosario, Juan Alberto Puiggari, Bishop of Mar del Plata, and Héctor Rubén Aguer, Archbishop of La Plata. The solemn inauguration ( enthronement ) took place on 11 October of the same year.
