Guillermo José Garlatti

Guillermo José Garlatti ( born July 12, 1940 in Forgaria ) is Archbishop of Bahía Blanca.

Life

Guillermo José Garlatti received on 5 July 1964, the ordination. Pope John Paul II appointed him on 27 August 1994 Titular Bishop of Aquae Regiae and Auxiliary Bishop of La Plata.

The Archbishop of La Plata, Carlos Galán Walter Barry, donated to him on November 30th of the same year, the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were Juan Carlos Maccarone, Auxiliary Bishop in Lomas de Zamora, José María Arancedo, Bishop of Mar del Plata.

On February 20, 1997, he was appointed bishop of San Rafael and introduced into the office on 8 May of the same year. On 11 March 2003, he was appointed Archbishop of Bahía Blanca and introduced into the office on 10 May of the same year.
