Edward Francis Ryan

Edward Francis Ryan ( born March 10, 1879 in Lynn, Massachusetts, USA, † November 3, 1956 ) was Bishop of Burlington.

Life

Edward Francis Ryan received on 10 August 1905, the sacrament of Holy Orders.

On November 11, 1944, he was named by Pope Pius XII. Bishop of Burlington. The Archbishop of Boston, Richard Cushing, donated to him on January 3, 1945, the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the Archbishop of New York, Francis Spellman, and the Bishop of Providence, Francis Patrick Keough.
