Edward Platt
Edward Platt ( born February 14, 1916 in Staten Iceland, New York City; † March 19, 1974 in Santa Monica, California ) was an American actor, singer and radio newscaster.
Life
Platt was known as intelligence chief in the television series Mini -Max or the amazing adventures of Maxwell Smart. He also played, among others, in 1955 ... for they know not what they do, in 1959 they came to cordura, 1961 in Atlantis, the Lost Continent and 1962 in a Cape Fear and in 1959 a lawyer in North by Northwest. He had in 1974 in an episode of the series Owen Marshall His last screen appearance - trial lawyers.
In 1974 he committed suicide; his ashes were scattered into the sea.
