Edward W. Greenman

Edward Whitford Greenman ( born January 26, 1840 in Berlin, New York, † August 3, 1908 in Troy, New York ) was an American politician. Between 1887 and 1889 he represented the State of New York in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

In the congressional elections of 1886, for the 50th Congress Greenman was in the 18th electoral district of New York in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he became the successor of Henry G. Burleigh on 4 March 1887. Since he gave up for reelection in 1888, he retired after March 3 in 1889 from the Congress.

He was 1888-1905 cashier in the Central National Bank of Troy and 1906-1908 in the National City Bank of Troy. On August 3, 1908, he died there and was buried at the Oakwood Cemetery.
