Edyta Dzieniszewska

Edyta Dzieniszewska ( born May 5, 1986 in Augustow, Podlaskie Voivodeship ) is a Polish Canoe Sprint athlete and competitor at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. They will start for the club Sparta Augustów.

Career

Her first international success was winning a bronze medal at the Junior European Championships in 2004 in Poznan in the K-4 over the distance of 500 meters.

At the 2005 World Championships in Zagreb, she finished 5th in both the K -2 500 m and K- 4 1000 m.

At the European Championships in Poznan 2005 she won the K -4 with the Polish team Aneta Bialkowska, Iwona Pyzalska and Beata Mikołajczyk gold over 1,000 m.

At the European Championships in 2006 in Račice she missed more than 1000 m with the Polish team with Małgorzata Chojnacka, Anna Gorzynska and Dorota Kuczkowska with fourth place as the podium as in the following European Championships 2007 in Pontevedra with Marta Walczykiewicz, Anna Gorzynska and Iwona Pyzalska.

In 2008, she was able to win again in Milan with silver medal over the same distance in the foursomes with Beata Mikołajczyk, Małgorzata Chojnacka and Ewelina Wojnarowska. In two it was less successful ( 8 )

Your biggest achievement is a fourth place at the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 in the K -4 with Aneta Konieczna Beata Mikołajczyk and Dorota Kuczkowska about 500 m, where they missed the bronze medal by less than five hundredths of a second.
