Geography

The small town flare leeches with about 4,100 inhabitants, is located at the junction of highways 81 and 180, in the midst of the city triangle Aschersleben, Halberstadt and Magdeburg. It is about 20 kilometers southwest of Magdeburg halfway to Halberstadt in Salzlandkreis in Egelner hollow at the Bode.

History

Culture and sights
