The Egyptian Russian University ( ERU, Arabic الجامعة المصرية الروسية; Russian Египетского университета России ) is a university founded in 2006 in Badr City, Cairo, Egypt. It is the only Russian university in the Middle East. President Sherif Helmy.

First bachelor's degrees were awarded in September 2011. 2011 study about 1500 students at the two faculties of engineering and pharmacology. The degree program in nuclear power plant technology can be completed in 11 semesters. The language of instruction is English, but some are special courses in the humanities can be offered in Arabic.
