Eichberg is a municipality in the canton of St. Gallen. It is located in the constituency of the Rhine Valley.
Geography
Eichberg is located south of the city Altstaetten in the St. Gallen Rhine Valley. Neighboring communities of Eichberg are in northern and eastern Altstaetten, in the south of Upper Riet, in the southwest Rüte (AI) and in the northwest Gais (AR).
Policy
Mayor Alex Arnold ( CVP). He sat down at the direct election in September 2012 as a member of the Pirate Party with 62.9 % of the vote against two representatives of the SVP through. In April 2014 he moved to the CVP.
