Ekaterina Galkina

Ekaterina Vladimirovna Galkina (Russian Екатерина Владимировна Галкина; born August 10, 1988 in Moscow) is a Russian curler.

Galkina played at the Olympic Winter Games 2006 in Turin in the team of Skip Lyudmila Priwiwkowa. The Curling Championship 2006 in Basel, she won the gold medal.

In February 2010, Galkina took part in the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver (Canada) as a member of the Russian team. The team finished ninth.

Galkina modeled before the Olympic Games together with the native Russian and Australia launching Short Trackerin Tatjana Borodulina, as well as their Russian rural women freestyle Skiierin Ekaterina Stolyarowa, the Curl fellow Alexandra Saitowa and Olga Zyablikowa, ice hockey player Svetlana Kolmykowa and Anna Prugowa; Skeleton racer Elena Nikitina, figure skater Ekaterina Bobrova, Skicrosserin Maria Leonidovna Komissarova and ski jumper Irina Awwakumowa for the lingerie manufacturer S & M.
