Eleanor of Woodstock

Eleanor of England (* June 8, 1318, † April 22, 1355 in Deventer ) was the daughter of the English King Edward II and his wife Isabella of France.

She was married in May 1332 Rainald II Duke of funds. They had two sons, Edward and Rainald.

After her husband's death in 1343 she took over the regency as guardian for Rainald in the years 1343-1344. You supported the 1350 Battle of Eduard against his older brother.

She is buried in Minoritenkloster to Deventer.
