Elina Knihtilä

Mari Elina Knihtilä ( born June 6, 1971 in Valkeala, Finland) is a Finnish actress and voice actress.

Life

Mari Elina Knihtilä ended 1996, she studied acting at the Helsinki Theatre Academy. Then they played several years in the theater. Your screen debut was in 1996 in the lead role of henna in the staged by Sakari Kirjavainen Comedy Viisasten kivi alongside Heikki Kujanpää and later life companion, the actor Tommi Korpela. Since 1997, both have a son.

Knihtilä four times was previously nominated for the Finnish National Film Awards Jussi. Three nominations she received for her performances in Matti, Haarautuvan Rakkauden talo and Hyvä poika, where she received the award for the latter in 2012. A second award for Best Supporting Actress she received in 2009 for her portrayal of Aila Meriluoto in the staged drama of Heikki Kujanpää Putoavia enkeleitä.

As a voice actress Knihtilä was known because it is the Finnish voice of Terk in Disney productions Tarzan, Tarzan & Jane, Tarzan 2 and the related television series The Legend of Tarzan.
