Elizabeta Samara

Elizabeta Samara ( born April 15, 1989 in Constanţa ) is a Romanian table tennis player. Repeatedly won the European Championship.

Career

Youth

Already in her youth scored Elizabeta Samara numerous successes. She won at the European Youth Championships nine gold and five silver medals:

  • 2002 Cadets: silver in the doubles with Daniela Dodean
  • 2003 Cadets: gold in doubles with Galia Dvorak (Spain) and with the team
  • 2004 Cadets: gold in doubles with Marharyta Pessozka (Ukraine) and with the team
  • 2005 Junior: Silver in the individual ( behind Daniela Dodean ), gold in doubles with Daniela Dodean
  • 2006 Junior: Silver in singles, doubles with Daniela Dodean and mixed with Abdel-Kader Salifou (France ), gold with the team
  • 2007 Juniors: Gold in singles, doubles with Ekaterina Kolodyazhnaya (Russia) and Mixed drink with Paul Hall (England )

In addition, ten first-place finishes and four second place at World Youth tournaments ( World Junior Circuit). At the World Junior Championships in 2007, she reached the final with the team.

Adult

Even in the adult area, Elizabeta Samara was at the European Championships, for which she was always nominated since 2005, repeatedly and successfully. Right away it was in 2005 with the women's team European champion and 2011 runner-up. In doubles with Daniela Dodean they won the 2009 title, and came in 2011 to the final. In the performed separately mixed European Championships she won in 2011 and 2012 Andrei Filimon the title.

Since 2006 she has participated in all World Championships, came so far but not in the near medal ranks. In 2008 she qualified for participation in the Summer Olympics.

In 2008 and 2009 she was Romanian Champion in singles, a double, she won for the first time in 2003 with Alex. Chiramentli and since 2006 (until 2012 ), each time with Daniela Dodean. In Mixed brought them four times so far the title.

Currently (2012 ) plays Elizabeta Samara in club Fenerbahçe SK.
