Elsa Lystad
Elsa Lystad ( born July 9, 1930 Rodeløkka district of Oslo, Norway ) is a Norwegian actress and comedienne.
Biography
Lystad was born in Oslo Rodeløkka. Her mother was the maid Torah Aamot (1900-1972) from Stryn in Nordfjord and her father was the manager Erling Magnus Lystad ( 1905-1988 ). After her mother Thora Aamot separated from their father, they moved in 1935 back to Stryn. Elsa Lystad went there the first year two years in the school and learned to speak by the Norwegian Nordfjord dialect. 1937 attracted the mother and her daughter back to Oslo in the Nordal Bruns gate. Lystad later went in Oslo on a training school for girls and work after their training first as a secretary in the advertising department of the Norwegian daily Dagbladet. 1961 married Lystadt native Hungary and stage manager Szemes Arpad ( 1930-1998 ).
Lystad debuted in 1957 as a theater actress at Falkbergets Teater and joined in the role of Laura Isaksen in the piece Bør Borson jr directed by Toralf Sandø on. She then toured with the theater for a year in Norway. From 1958 to 1964 she was at Det Norske Teatret and got in a number of supporting roles. Her breakthrough came in 1965 in the performance Lysthuset and became engaged junior of the prominent actors Rolv beings Lund and Harald Heide- Steen for more performances in the theater. Lystad was then also at the Chat Noir theater and television Norwegian Theater ( Fjernsynsteatret ) operates. From 1973 to 1976 she performed at the Oslo Nye Teater from 1976 to 1980 she was employed at the National Scene.
