Elverson Road DLR station

Elverson Road is a station on the Docklands Light Railway (DLR ) in the London Borough London Borough of Lewisham. It lies on the boundary of Travelcard Zone 2 and 3, at the intersection of Elverson Road and Connington Road in St John's district, surrounded by a densely populated residential area.

The opening of the station on November 20, 1999 in conjunction with the section between Crossharbour and Lewisham. For the construction of the station of the River Ravensbourne had to be moved on a short section. Since a water-bearing layer of limestone occurs in the immediate vicinity to the surface, special structural protective measures were necessary to prevent the pollution of drinking water.
