Elversstein

Name

The Elvers stone is named after Rudolph Elvers (1825-1891), a German lawyers and administrators, who served among other things as District Administrator of Wernigerode in the Prussian province of Saxony.

Geographical location

The Elvers stone is located in the Harz Nature Park / Saxony- Anhalt 2 km south-southwest of the town of Wernigerode part Hasserode, the south-west connects to the core city.
