Christianity

All members of the band are Christians, but the band is reluctant, however, as to be labeled Christian rock band. Although their views are Christian, they fear that their reputation as Christians could the ability to reach their audience limit. Through a non- Christian image they hope to be able to appeal to non-Christians on their topics. In an interview with the defunct website hardcorechristian.com singer and guitarist Devin said:

"I know for a while it was fashionable to be a Christian band. We're just Christian people in a band, so we're the first thing Christians ... obviously ... the band comes and goes again, they will dissolve one day, this is the natural course of things, just like everywhere else. We are first and foremost Christians and that should in the first effect, what we do every day in our jobs and in our lives, so I mean ... Every day write us thousands of Christian fans, Hey you are the best christian band blah blah blah 'or' one of the best ' or whatever, and that is also nice, but we have given up, this stitch through with, because it is quite difficult to get rid of the image of a Christian band, so that non-Christian people hear you, because if you only play on Christian events, and only with Christian bands, you sägst yourself off the branch on which you sit, in terms of your career and even your preacher to function against such people. [ ... ] I mean, there are already other places and people for something. There are a whole lot of very good Worship bands and stuff and I think they are intended to do such a thing, but we should definitely not be described as such. We tried it, we played a few times in churches with a lot of Christian bands and we felt really out of place, it was almost as if God say this is not what you should do, guys. It was not bad or anything, but we just do not have that spirit of accomplishment, we feel now, because we are so better to people in relationship to the audience, much better than to youth groups. "

Opposite the site suburban.com drummer David Powell replied to the question of the interaction with non-Christian bands:

" Yes, we have played with some. We prefer. For the intent and motives of this band there is absolutely pointless to play with Christian bands. I treat people no different, just because they are not Christians. We do what we always do - you know, my band let me do the interview, because I 'm the worst speakers, they thought it was funny - we do, where we feel guided us. With words we can say it all, and the audience will react irritably. Life is anders.Ich would much rather that people SEE that I 'm a Christian and do not TUNE "
