Emily Day ( born August 9, 1987 in Torrance ) is an American volleyball and beach volleyball player.

Career Indoor Volleyball

Day became interested in athletic first for football. In 2005, she finally decided during her studies at Loyola Marymount University for volleyball. Until their completion in 2009, she starred in the University team. She then moved to Swiss club VBC Franches- Montagnes.

Career beach volleyball

2007 Day began with the beach volleyball and qualified with her ​​partner, Heather Hughes, the youngest team for the main round of an AVP tournament. After she competed in various duos 2009, she came again in 2010 along with Hughes. 2011 played Day / Hughes their first open tournament of the FIVB World Tour.
