Emily Noor

Emily Noor ( born March 5, 1971 in Someren ) is a Dutch table tennis player who was active internationally in the 1990s. In 1996 she was Vice European Champion in doubles, and participated in the Olympic Games.

Career

Emily Noor won at the Dutch Championships 14 titles, namely in 1992 in single and seven times in a double and six times in the mixed doubles. From 1987 to 1997 she took part in six World Championships, where she worked with the Dutch women's team came in fourth place in 1987. For the European Championships it was between 1990 and 1998 five nominated times. Here, her biggest success was winning the silver medal in 1996 in a double with Bettine Vriesekoop behind the German pair Nicole Struse / Elke Schall.

In 1996 she qualified with Bettine Vriesekoop for participation in the doubles competition of the Olympic Games. Here they could not prevail in the qualifying round. In 1998 she finished her international career.
