Nicole Struse

Nicole Struse ( born May 31, 1971 in Haan ) is a German table tennis player who has played nationally and internationally, both in singles and doubles. She is a multiple German Champion (including nine individual titles, in 1987 the then recent German champion) and won several European Championships, both in individual (1996 ) as well as with the team ( 1996, 1998 ) and together with Elke Wosik in double (1996, 1998). She also competed between 1992 and 2004 a total of four times at Summer Olympics in part. With 205 missions it 's a record national player.

In 2004 she won the European ranking tournament Europe TOP - 12th With the win, the eighth German championship in 2005, it sparked Single Hilde Bussmann and Trude Pritzi from a record holder. In 2006 she won the doubles title with Wu Jiaduo.

Struse is right-handed, as their strength is considered offensive play. At the end of the 2012/13 season, she finished her career as a competitive athlete.

On 1 May 2000 Struse was inducted into the sports promotion group of the Bundeswehr Mainz. 2010 Struse ambassador for the Gay Games in Cologne. In January 2012, Nicole Struse hosted the TV show " The perfect dinner " in Cologne, broadcast on the private TV channel VOX.
