Enochian Theory

Enochian Theory is an English progressive rock and metal band from Portsmouth, which was founded in 2004.

History

The band was founded towards the end of 2004. Together they developed a number of songs, from which their debut album A Monument to the Death of an Idea was born, which was recorded in June 2006, mixed and co-produced. The band formed their own label called Anomalousz Music Records in January 2007. Seven months later, the band also signed a contract with Plastic Head Distribution for distribution.

In August 2008, work on the second album began. As producer David Castillo was there working. After the work was completed to evolution was: Creatio Ex Nihilio published in August 2009 in Europe only. In the same year, the band also performed at the ProgPower Europe and was nominated for two awards at the Italian Prog Awards. In November came another appearance along with Katatonia.

In May 2010, the band reached a deal with Mascot Records for a re-release of Evolution: Creatio Ex Nihilio what happened on September 27. The album received reviews in various magazines such as the German Rock Hard or Metal Hammer Germany. In July 2010, the band performed at the Metal Camp in Slovenia, where a European tour followed in September with Spock 's Beard.

In March 2011, followed by a tour of the UK along with Jurojin and Touchstone. After the band had already begun at the end of last year, with the work on another album, the group went in August 2011 in the British Aubitt Studios to record there with producer Rob Aubrey the next album. In 2012, the album Life ... And All It was published Entails. In addition, a music video for the song The Fire Around the Lotus was also recorded.

The band plays classic progressive rock and metal and is compared to bands such as Riverside, Pain of Salvation, Fates Warning and anathema.
