Enrique Cadícamo

Enrique Cadícamo ( born July 15, 1900 in Luján, Buenos Aires Province; † December 3, 1999 in Buenos Aires ) was an Argentine composer and writer.

Cadícamo was known for his tango texts, interpreted and performed by singers such as Libertad Lamarque, Agustín Magaldi, Julio Sosa, Mercedes Sosa and others. Some of his publications Cadícamo used the pseudonyms " Rosendo Luna " or " yino Luzzi ".

Cadícamo made ​​several trips to the USA, France and Spain, and thus enhanced the spread of rights Tango enormous.

On 3 December 1999 Cadícamo died at the age of 99 from heart failure in Buenos Aires and found his final resting place.
