Épinay-sous-Sénart

Epinay- sous- Sénart is a commune with 12,129 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Essonne in the Ile- de -France region. It is part of Evry, south of Paris and the adjacent is the main town ( chef-lieu ) of the eponymous canton of Epinay- sous- Sénart.

Geography

Epinay- sous- Sénart is surrounded by the neighboring communities Brunoy the west and north, Mandres -les -Roses in the northeast, Boussy -Saint -Antoine in the East, Quincy -sous- Sénart the southeast and south and Soisy -sur -Seine in the southwest. A large part of the municipality is the northeastern part of the Forêt Domaniale de Sénart. On the northern boundary of the municipality of the river Yerres runs.
